| Feast Day of Saint Philip Benizi Sunday, August 24, 2008 10:30 a.m. Mass and the traditional blessing of bread and water in honor of Saint Philip Benizi, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Distribution of the blessed bread and water will follow the Mass. St. Philip Basilica High School Alumni and former parishioners of St. Philip Benizi Parish are especially invited to attend, along with all parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica. Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Francis Kane. The Basilica Choir and Ecclesia Men's Chorus will enrich the celebration with song. Flowers will be blessed and presented to Our Blessed Mother at the Shrine Altar. You are invited to bring cut flowers from the bounty of your garden, to add to the presentation.
